Project Overview:

This project focused on delivering practical network and surveillance improvements for a client operating out of a leased commercial property in Oxnard, CA. With fewer than two years remaining on the lease, the client needed a cost-effective solution that would provide meaningful visibility and network management without over-investing in a temporary space.
Our team worked closely within the client’s budget to deploy a streamlined network and surveillance stack. What appeared to be a straightforward installation became a more involved effort when a pre-existing cabling infrastructure, initially identified as usable, was found to be entirely compromised upon arrival. Our team adapted on-site and completed the project with fresh cabling runs to ensure a reliable and properly installed system.

Network Infrastructure Upgrade

• Cleared and reorganized the client’s existing wall-mounted IT stack.

Cabling Remediation (Discovered On-Site)

• Initial site assessment identified existing structured cabling in the attic space, which appeared suitable for reuse.
• Upon the service visit, all cabling was found to have been cut at multiple points throughout the run, rendering it entirely unusable.
• Our team pivoted and ran all new cabling to support the surveillance and network hardware.
• Completed remediation without significant impact to the overall project outcome.
